Evolutionary Entrepreneur Susan Ma founded Tropic Skincare in 2012 with 50:50 backing from Lord Sugar after she appeared on the BBCTV programme ‘The Apprentice’ and presented her passion and vision for natural and cruelty free skincare. Susan’s love for developing natural beauty recipes stems from her upbringing and life in Cairns, Tropical North Queensland in Australia, where she was surrounded by the amazing plants and botanical actives that inspire many of Tropic’s formulations today. The company’s values are PURE ETHOS PURE INGREDIENTS HONEST LABELLING and EFFECTIVE BUSINESS. The company has built a network of 12,000 ambassadors – including many women who are also healers, coaches and therapists, empowering them with an additional revenue stream to support their service to others.
